We are a research lab and training centre providing current, impactful research and training in foresight strategy and the human futures approach to thought leaders in business, policy, those engaged in scholarly pursuits, and anyone interested in applying foresight and insight to their work.

What We do at HFI

We are a research lab facilitating the research of a number of global experts.

We are also a Training Centre providing education, training, and upskilling in foresight strategy and insights research for companies, insight and foresight teams, boards and C-suites, and a wide range of individuals seeking to make use of a practical and rigorous form of future-oriented research.

Everything we do is devoted to the application of research and knowledge to help leaders and thinkers in corporate, not-for-profit, governmental, and artistic contexts.

We offer a certificate program in applied foresight strategy with three levels:

  • Fundamentals of Applied Foresight Strategy

  • Interpreting the Future - Applied skills for those who are looking to use foresight but not practice it

  • Advanced Foresight Methods

We offer tailored courses and experiential learning in:

  • Foresight x Insight: The Human Futures Approach

  • A wide variety of topic areas including (AI applications, future of work, future of the customer, future threats)

  • Foresight as a driver of strategy, innovation, and/or design

  • Preparing for the future: Application of foresight inputs

We also offer a range of smaller engagements with the future for groups, conferences, and corporate off-sites:
